Frank Pelly is a senior vice president and head of sales for trade services for Wells Fargo International Banking and Trade Services group (IBTS). Based in Miami Florida, Frank manages the IBTS Trade Sales and Trade Relationship Managers in Well Fargo’s 14 regional offices. IBTS is dedicated to being the premier provider of financial services to U.S. companies engaged in international commerce.
Frank began his nearly 30-year banking career at Citibank, where he managed operations, technology and financial business units responsible for loan and credit administration for Citibank’s Washington DC, Dallas, Tampa, Miami, Atlanta and Houston offices. In 1990 Frank assumed responsibility for Citibank International’s operations, which provided operational, product development, and customer service support for Citibank’s Latin American trade, cash management and foreign exchange business. Moving to Wachovia in 2002, Frank created and implemented several new international settlement products which resulted in setting a new global standard for international banking. Frank has a Bachelor degree in economics and finance from St Johns University in NYC.
