Vice President, Qualcomm Inc.
George Mansho is currently a vice president in Qualcomm’s legal department. In this role, Mansho applies his many years of business development and negotiation skills as well as his wireless ecosystem expertise to ensure rapid and seamless worldwide growth of next-generation wireless technologies and services.
Prior to this position, Mansho served as a representative for the CDMA Development Group (CDG), a consortium of world-leading manufacturers and service providers whose primary objective is to ensure operability and the proliferation of wireless technology around the world. On loan from Qualcomm, Mansho served as a business development and technical evangelist for the CDG.
Before working with the CDG, Mansho served as a senior vice president in Qualcomm CDMA Technologies (QCT) and was responsible for business development, strategic alliances and mergers and acquisitions for the semiconductor business. Leading up to this position, Mansho served as corporate senior vice president for international business development and operations where he focused on new global business opportunities, including mergers and acquisitions, strategic alliances and investments, and assisted in managing Qualcomm’s many international offices. Prior to that, Mansho served as general manager of Qualcomm Wireless Business Solutions’ (QWBS, now Qualcomm Enterprise Services) international business group.
Mansho joined Qualcomm in 1994 as part of its legal department and licensing group, where he was instrumental in marketing Qualcomm’s CDMA technology to global manufacturers. His responsibilities included negotiating, signing and administering licenses to manufacture and sell CDMA equipment.
Mansho has also served on the boards of Corporacion Nacional Radiodeterminacion and Qualcomm Asean, and as chairman of the board for e-Qcom.
Prior to joining Qualcomm, Mansho held management and legal positions with Ball Corporation, a FORTUNE 500® packaging and aerospace company, including vice president of international and commercial products for its communications division.
Mansho holds a Bachelor of Arts and Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder and is licensed to practice law in the State of Colorado and the Federal District Court.
