Diane Long joins Xanadu Enterprises Ltd, a business services platform offering a full range of services to companies in various stages of entering the China market. Diane’s unique set of skills and 25 years of China experience enables her to work with clients to analyze market entry strategies and to execute on those strategies throughout the supply chain. From sourcing to logistics, and from retail to market penetration, she has assisted clients to understand the expectations of the market, realign operations, and strengthen management teams in preparation for success in the China market.


Diane led adidas’ post-acquisition of Reebok’s global apparel operations following her role as China country manager for Adidas’ apparel sourcing operations. She was vice president of Liz Claiborne and General Manager of its China operations (1996 – 2005), overseeing the development of sourcing strategies, manufacturing, and coordinating government affairs in China.

Since 2008 Ms. Long has been a senior advisor to ALC Advisors, a premier provider of sophisticated China solutions for Western businesses operating in China, applying her experience in operations, supply chain and retail markets. In 2009 Diane joined Vistage, the leading global CEO membership organization based in the U.S. as a founding chair for its China program.

She is a past chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai and is currently on the Board of Governors. She is on the Board of Directors for Active Kidz Shanghai, a non-profit athletic organization for children. She recently rejoined the Board of Concordia International School Shanghai and is active in a number of public health projects in China. Diane is frequent speaker on the topics of supply chain efficiencies and management development. Ms. Long, a native Californian, received her BA in International Relations from Stanford University. She is married and has two sons.
