Elizabeth Atkins is a senior vice president and head of sales for Wells Fargo International Banking & Trade Solutions (IBTS). Based in San Francisco, Elizabeth oversees the group’s sales teams, including international business development, trade services, export-import working capital, and global financial institutions referral services. IBTS is dedicated to being the premier provider of financial services to U.S. companies engaged in international commerce.
Elizabeth has held international banking positions in sales, product development, supply chain finance, cross-border lending, structured trade finance, and relationship management. She began her banking career in the Mexico division of Bank One, where she specialized in cross-border agricultural lending and developed a maquiladora finance program. Prior to her current position, she managed a global trade and treasury sales team in the western United States and launched the supply chain finance business for Bank of America.
Elizabeth graduated cum laude with a B.A. in Spanish and philosophy from the University of Arizona, and received an M.B.A. with distinction in international business from the Thunderbird School of Global Management in Glendale, Ariz.
She lives in Half Moon Bay, Calif., with her husband and two daughters.
